North Star Retrievers

Jersey is 90+ pounds with a medium stocky build. She has a lovely light chocolate coat with incredibly soft, thick fur. She is very sweet, calm and affectionate, learns quickly, and is everybody’s instant friend ~ even the cats! She really loves pets, cuddles and the kids, and makes the BEST fluffy foot warmer during family movie nights!

Beautiful Bonnie Blue comes from English show champion parents and bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire also has a working title and comes from a breeder in Florida that strives to preserve the beauty of the Labrador alongside the working abilities of the retriever. Bonnie is definitely a stunning example of their efforts! She has a very sweet, calm temperament, is very intelligent, and learns quickly. She absolutely loves children, people, pets and cuddles. She also loves a good run in the woods, a game of fetch, and retrieving on our pond. She loves to be with us and get involved with whatever we are doing. She is also calm and easy-going and able to chill out on her own when she’s not the center of attention (as she very much deserves to be!). Bonnie has produced two exceptionally calm and beautiful litters of puppies so far. She will be taking a one year furlough and then will have her last 1-2 litters before she retires. We will definitely be keeping at least one of these very special puppies to add to our program. Star is such a sweet, pretty girl from American field lines. She is very intelligent, obedient, affectionate, and eager to please. She has a lovely, gentle nature and is sweet with both dogs and humans of all ages. She loves nothing better than to go and do and be with her people, whether it’s sticking by our side wherever we go on our property, getting out on the water and retrieving, or relaxing with us in the house.

Beau’s pedigree is filled with field champions and hunting champions (his dam’s sire is Mitchell River Redman). His parents are both family-owned hunting dogs. This boy absolutely lives to retrieve! As soon as he sees you coming, he starts looking around for a ball or a stick to play fetch. Since he was a puppy, he could keep up to our older dogs retrieving on the water. He’s very sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and learns quickly. He loves hanging out with his people and has a beautiful soft, thick coat. His dam was a fox red American and his sire was a big yellow English. His puppies so far have received both stunning looks and excellent retrieving drive from their grandparents.

Wilson came to us from L&M Waggoner Retrievers in Texas. His family tree is full of hunting champions & field champions, including his great granddaddy who was a 7x GRHRCH, MNH9 and Hall of Fame dog. This boy has excellent drive, absolutely loves water and retrieving! He also has a wonderfully calm and loving temperament, is very intelligent and obedient, and is just a fantastic all-around family dog.
