Q. & A. with LEILANI
Why did you start breeding?
I have spent my entire life in animal husbandry or care positions beginning as a foster home for the humane society, then becoming a certified vet tech and privately rescuing as well as adopting pets from ethical breeders. In 2014 my veterinarian encouraged me to get my first cairn and the rest is history as I am in love with this breed and dedicated to their future.
What makes your program special?
We are passionate about what we do an provide excellent care and enrichment to both our puppies and our adult dogs. We uphold a strong moral code in both breeding practices as well as health testing and veterinary care. We have a wonderful relationship with our veterinary team that has worked with us over many years and vouches for the quality of our program.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver brindle, red, red brindle, red wheaten, wheaten brindle, wheaten, black brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
