Meet the breeder

I'm Devon L., the breeder behind Not Of This World Aussies, Scottie’s, Poodles, & Doodles located in Fayetteville, AR. We are a small hobby breeder that has a few litters a year. We focus on health, temperament and working or snuggling abilities. Australian Shepherd puppies are AKC/ASCA or AKC. Poodle puppies are AKC, Scottie puppies are AKC. Doodles are CKC. They are all raised in our home.

Q. & A. with Devon

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a child, my family had a couple of litters with our family dogs and I became obsessed with the whole process. As an adult, I knew I wanted my kids to experience the same thing, but I wanted to make sure these pups had the best start to life and that they ended up in families where they would become an important part of that family.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on bettering the breed and taking the necessary health tests so that we can do our best to avoid common issues that have afflicted this breed in the past. We also choose lines that have phenomenal temperaments and incredible instinctual working abilities as well.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, blue, red, parti, and phantom. Scottish Terrier puppies include brindle and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Devon responded quick to my inquiry about the miniature poodle. She told me about her and I shared my information. I told her that I wanted to purchase her. Gooddog made it easy.

I am glad I found my puppy through Good Dog. The breeder really cares about her dogs and even sent home a little goody bag for her. Josie is growing strong and healthy. Weighing over 7 lbs now and very sweet natured and gets along well with my older dog.

I truly enjoyed working with Not of this World Australian Shepherds. This was my first experience since 1998 getting an AKC dog. Devon was very understanding of my questions. I loved knowing he was a big boy compared to siblings.
