Novelty Farm

Theresa W.

Breeder of Cairn Terriers and Armenian Gamprs

Meet the breeder

I'm Theresa W., the breeder behind Novelty Farm located in St. James, MO. We breed for health, temperament, and the breed standard, with an emphasis on being able to perform for the job they were intended. Our Armenian Gampr dogs are working livestock guardian dogs, and our Cairn Terriers are pets, show dogs, and vermin cleanup on the farm. We have tested in ED/GTG competitions, obedience, rally, and conformation. We look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Theresa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started training dogs in 4H as a teen. I enjoyed it so much with a mutt that I went on to purchase my first purebred dogs and started showing them. I started breeding from there, and the rest is history!
  • What makes your program special?

Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of these breeds. Our dogs are bred for quality and as working dogs. Many of our Cairns wind up in the best pet homes, and our families become friends. Our Gamprs are ideal for many farms and ranches for livestock protection. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for our Armenian Gampr and Carin Terrier lines.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
