I'm Jeri H., the breeder behind Nyx Labrador Retrievers located in Hendersonville, TN. We responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy pups so others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Labrador Retriever! We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!
Q. & A. with Jeri
Why did you start breeding?
After the lost of my sweet Nyx, I knew that I could never be without another Lab and wanted to commit to helping other experience what a true Lab is all about. This passion lead to years of research and finally I was able to bring home my sweet Nola, to be the foundation on which to grow my program.
What makes your program special?
We have a keen focus in preserving the Labrador Retriever breed by breeding for that hallmark Labrador temperament, structure and workability.
With Labradors being heavily overbred, we take a lot of pride in educating people about the breed and any of their breed-related issues.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Nola
Magnolia, “Nola”, is an incredibly smart girl that loves the water! If she could, she would swim and retrieve for hours on in.
Without a doubt, she is happy and eager to work. She is wonderfully biddable. She’s also remarkably social with a beautiful off switch when appropriate both inside and outside the home. We are grateful for being able to have her apart of our family and program!
