Meet the breeder

I'm Angie H., the breeder behind Oak Forest Aussies located in Stillwater, OK. We pride ourselves in producing good temperament, solid structure, and quality Australian Shepherds. We have a mix of dogs from show and working lines. Our program is centered around producing dogs that do it all, while building relationships with others through a shared love of dogs.

Q. & A. with Angie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for Australian Shepherds started in 2017 when I brought home my family pet, Baelea. Since then, I have been learning more about the breed and has started working with the dogs and the local kennel club to start agility, rally and obedience competitions.
  • What makes your program special?

We are very family oriented and believe that your dogs are a very special part of your family. We raise our dogs and puppies around our 10 year old son, 6 year old daughter and 1 year old daughter. We are also licensed foster parents with the state of Oklahoma so our dogs are exposed to different children of all ages and backgrounds. We know how healing the love of an animal can be and our dogs spread that love to every child in our home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Meeka, my sweet Meeka! Miss little attitude has fit right into my on-the-go life style with my other 9 mo old Aussie. She has been a very easy pup to train and loves to work for her food. First night home no whining in the kennel at bed time, no accidents first week (messed up the potty schedule) sit, come, stay, down, place all very easily taught in first month. 10/10 would recommend Angie and Oak Forest Aussies
