I'm Leah O., the breeder behind Oak Leaf Landing located in Christiana, TN. My dogs are fed a high-quality diet, they have formal exercise programs that they follow and puppies are very well socialized and prepared for life when they go to their new home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love the breed and I have trained and built drive in my Dogs and want to offer this to other others that also love the breed and that love dog Agility.
  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs all eat a very high-quality diet, they get the proper vaccines and titers, are all very well adjusted and lovely pets. My dogs are eager to please their person and they are very structurally sound with a lot of drive. They are a lot of fun to be around.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include orange parti, black and tan parti, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Leah

Leah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Leah partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 9 weeks old.

“Puppies will be assessed to determine if they are suitable for a pet or performance home. All puppies will participate in the Avidog program. Understanding the owners preferences and what they want to do with their puppies will help make the perfect match. If someone wants a specific puppy, that can be discussed prior to accepting a deposit if desired. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes first puppy shots and wellness visit prior to going to new home, puppy will have been socialized, participated in socialization, crate training, getting used to kids, adults and older people. Contract will be provided and breeder will always take a dog back if the new owner can no longer provide for the dog. Deposit will hold the dog until the dog is fully purchased and goes to new home.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
