I'm Tawnya E., the breeder behind Oakridge Standard Poodle located in Yelm, WA. Our dogs are a huge part of our daily life, we focus on temperament, conformation and breed type. We love an active but intelligent biddable dog, who lives to love you. We actively participate in AKC conformation on weekends and enjoy living with them during the week.

Why did you start breeding?
I was involved in American Paint horses first and when I got my dog, I thought why not, show and breed Standard Poodles. The rest is History ❤️What makes your program special?
We have a huge focus on temperament that can live with family however still capable of what they were originally intended to do.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, blue, brown, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tawnya has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEwS), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Genetic Diversity Test, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
