I'm Shelley M., the breeder behind Oakview Kennels located in Twin Lake, MI. I've been raising quality, happy, and healthy puppies since 2003. I work with the magnificent Miniature Pinscher and Silken Windhound breeds. They are bred to be perfect family companions. Through creating an environment of serenity and care for my puppies, I know I am able to give each precious pup the very best chance to reach their potential, express their unique personality, and have a loving, well-rounded temperament.

Why did you start breeding?
My uncle was breeding Miniature Pinschers and when he retired, I got his kennel of dogs. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs. I have since also added Silken Windhounds to my program!What makes your program special?
My many years of experience are what make my program special. I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to my dogs and my policies. I am thorough in the health and care of my dogs, and I make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual attention that it needs to thrive. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is ready for its future role when it leaves my care.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
