Isabel K.

Breeder of Australian Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Isabel K., the breeder behind Ocean Aussies located in Cape Coral, FL. Our breeding program focuses on strengthening cleverness, athleticism, and companion mentality in the Aussie. We strive to provide families with the highest quality pet and family member possible, concentrating on its health and mental stability.

Q. & A. with Isabel

  • Why did you start breeding?

While I grew up my family bred Tibetan Terriers and I used to assist during the occasional whelp. The excitement of bringing new life into this world has stuck with me and soon I managed my first own litter. Then I got my first Australian Shepherd and ever since then I breed on occasion; always focusing on my female's health and raising the puppies with responsibility and devotion.
  • What makes your program special?

I like to see my devotion and focus on the litter at hand as something that makes my program special. It is always about one female and one litter at a time. I spend a lot of time socializing and teaching the puppies before they get old enough to move to their new families so that they and their new owners can enjoy the most seamless transition into their new life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Isabel

Isabel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We ask $1500 for the black tris and $1900 for the blue merles. The higher price of the merles allows us to find good homes for the tris, which usually takes longer to find a new home.”

Contract & health guarantee

Isabel may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
