I'm Marcy O., the breeder behind Oerly's English Shepherds located in California, MO. We live on a cattle farm in central Missouri and our dogs are our companions and farm helpers. The dogs are extremely good guardians, alerting to predators such as coyotes. They are also excellent hunters, very loyal, and good with children. Our dogs come from outstanding bloodlines and their temperaments and athleticism are a testament to the breed. We continually receive great feedback on the dogs we have bred. The health and happiness of each puppy is our priority and we strive to expose them to various people, animals and situations to help ensure the new owners receive a confidant, well-loved puppy.

Getting a puppy from Marcy
Marcy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and $850 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price (the deposit is deducted from the final price) includes the first round of vaccinations, worming, health checks, and litter registration with the English Shepherd Club and the United Kennel Club. Deposit is required once the puppies are born and we know the number of pups and how many males and females are in the litter.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Molly
Molly is a beautiful black and white female weighing about 50 pounds. She is extremely intelligent and very athletic. She is very loyal and bonded to our family. She has an excellent working dog pedigree and has a strong guardian instinct and alerts to farm predators, such as coyotes. As all good English Shepherds do, she takes her job as farm overseer very seriously and is always taking in the situation. She is a great hunter and will tree raccoons and squirrels. Molly is an overall awesome dog and I just can’t say enough good things about her!

About Maggee
Maggee is a beautiful tricolor female weighing about 55 pounds. She has a very friendly demeanor and is extremely athletic. She has been raised on our farm and has an excellent working dog pedigree. Maggee has a strong guardian instinct and alerts to farm predators, such as coyotes. She definitely enjoys keeping an eye on things, loves to tree raccoons and squirrels, and hunt rabbits. Maggee is a very faithful companion, very bonded to our family and wonderful with children. She displays all the traits that make the English Shepherd breed so special.

About Gus
Gus is a very handsome tri-colored English Shepherd male weighing approximately 70 pounds. Gus is the epitome of a well rounded dog. He has a fantastic demeanor, intelligent, very well behaved, alerts to farm predators, such as coyotes, and is an awesome vermin/farm pest eliminator (opossums, raccoons, armadillos, squirrels, moles, rabbits.) He loves to tree raccoons and squirrels. He has excellent working bloodlines. He has a high guardian instinct in the fact that he is constantly keeping an eye on things around the farm. He is extremely loyal and everyone who meets Gus just loves him. He really is an exceptional dog and an exemplary example of the English Shepherd breed.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
