I'm Oca S., the breeder behind Oh So Sassy Poms located in Uniontown, PA. As a dedicated and responsible breeder, we embarked all of our adult poms. I strive to breed for healthy AKC standard poms. All of my poms have a nice pedigree and are raised in our home. We follow puppy culture guidance when raising our puppies My adult poms have been raised around children and have gentle dispositions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have had poms for 22 years. My first pom stole my heart. I have had many poms since then. Now i have the time to breed my poms to offer quality poms to selected homes. All of my poms are registered AKC. We do not sell with breeding rights. Pet only AKC

  • What makes your program special?

    All of my puppies will be raised with puppy culture.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include orange parti, cream parti, black and tan parti, orange, cream, black, tri-colored, black and tan, cream sable, and orange sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Oca

Oca has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes AKC registration, worming and age-appropriate vaccinations, with a basket to get you started with your pom. Pet Only starts at $2200. Trupanion insurance free 30 days. Your deposit holds your puppy. We do not take deposits until 2-3 weeks of age. The deposit does go toward the purchase price."

Oca may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Oca and her husband were nothing short of God-sent. Ever since my first pom, I knew another would come into the mix eventually, and that day I searched up breeders and found Oca, everything fell into place seamlessly. Through her immense knowledge, professionalism, and kindness I knew from our first video call that they were exactly the kind of wonderful people who put their dogs first in every way, the reassurance and confidence they gave me on what all their procedures and standards were when it came to the health and wellbeing of their puppies was all I needed to move forward with everything! The updates, videos, and pictures Oca gave me were so integral to the excitement and bond I was building for our new addition coming into our life and home! Almost daily I had adorable updates to look forward to, watching our puppy grow up and experience new things was such a rewarding experience. Oca raises these litters in absolute luxury, they have weekly new lessons and toys to stimulate them as they grow, and one of the big things was how much she socialized the puppies with other dogs, which was a huge plus for our home where we already had a 3 yr old female. When it was time to get our baby, Oca was extremely accomodating and met us half way, the process was so wholesome and we were beyond happy to finally bring our puppy into her new home! Needless to say, Mavis our puppy has fit into our family like a piece that was always supposed to be there. The joy and laughter she's added to our days is absolutely nothing short of a blessing. She and our older pom are inseparable, and it has been such an easy, fulfilling transition since she came into our home. Oca is someone with a heart of gold, she stays in the loop because she absolutely loves these dogs, they are apart of her, that's how much she pours into them.     We had such a wonderful experience with Oh So Sassy Poms! The entire process was smooth and transparent from start to finish. They regularly sent us videos and updates of our puppy, Fefi, which made the wait so much easier and exciting.     Where do I begin, to say how wonderful Chris and Oca are. After my pom passed in July of 2024, I was devastated to say the least. Since my last Pom had so many issues, I was nervous and cautious about a breeder this time around. Well, I feel blessed beyond belief, to have found Chris and Oca! They are so wonderful, loving, attentive, knowledgeable, honest and amazing in every way! Chris sent me videos and pictures daily, it was unbelievable!
