Meet the breeder

I'm Jaci C., the breeder behind Ohana Amstaffs and Aussies located in Powhatan, VA. My mission is to produce Amstaffs & Aussies that have extraordinary health, a desire to please their owners, fabulous conformation, & are perfect companions for your home. Here at Ohana, we want new puppy owners to feel confident in their decision to become apart of our ever-growing family. Parents will be fully health tested, titled in conformation as well as performance and temperament related activities to give the best chance in making puppies with sound minds & bodies.

Q. & A. with Jaci

  • Why did you start breeding?

For the past decade, I have shown UKC American Pit Bull Terriers and decided to transition to a breed that can show both AKC & UKC. With lots of patience, I was finally able to obtain my first Amstaffs in 2017 to begin my new adventure in AKC as well as remaining faithful to where I got my start, in UKC.
  • What makes your program special?

All Ohana dogs are family members and live very spoiled lives. My dogs and puppies are raised indoors utilizing the US military's Super Dog Program (or Early Neurological Stimulation - ENS) as well as the Puppy Culture Program. My dogs are socialized with people of all ages as well as other pets.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. American Staffordshire Terrier puppies include fawn brindle, red, red sable, blue fawn, blue, blue brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
