I'm Shayla D., the breeder behind Okie Shed Dogs LLC located in Stroud, OK. We love hunting Labs. Our dogs have changed our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to help others find their perfect hunting, working, and/or family pet. Owning a working Labrador is a unique experience; there is a special kind of bond when they hunt for you.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Shayla

Shayla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $400 - $950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes, AKC and UKC registration, vet check ups, first round of vaccines, dewormings, heartguard, flea and tick prventative, nail trims, bath, microchip, socialization, kennel training, and a puppy pack. The deposit will hold your spot in line until 9 weeks of age unless the breeder has reason to hold for health purposes.”

Contract & health guarantee

Shayla may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
