I'm Jacqueline D., the breeder behind Old England Bull Terriers located in Walnut Creek, CA. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies. We do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible right from the start. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience and a lifetime together with our support.
Q. & A. with Jacqueline
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the breed and began to compete in rally, obedience and confirmation before ever breeding my first litter. Each litter has been co-owned by an experienced mentor of over 30yrs. Breeding is hard work. Placing puppies in the right homes is even harder. We are always looking for people interested in having a mentor for showing and breeding BTs or owning a well rounded pet.
What makes your program special?
We only breed our best bitches with the goal to produce puppies better than themselves. We health test all of our bitches and stud dogs prior to breeding them (heart, kidneys, and LAD). We then health check and BAER test all puppies prior to them leaving. We have used the top stud dogs in the U.S. and the UK. The best stud dog is often not the closest or most convenient one, but the RIGHT one.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
