I'm Jen M., the breeder behind Old Hickory Maltese located in St. Louis, MO. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I have several friends that have been breeding dogs and have enjoyed hearing about the friendships they have made through breeding. I am looking forward to creating new friendships as well.What makes your program special?
We strive to offer the very best for our Mommas and their pups. We started with finding Mommas' whose Dad is an AKC Champion and both parents have a total of 15 Champions in their 4 generation AKC Pedigree. In addition, all are fed top quality food and receive daily Breeding Supplements. Our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation and are interacted with several times a day.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jen
Jen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee
Jen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
