Q. & A. with Kristy
Why did you start breeding?
I'm a lifetime labrador owner and love sharing my passion for such a fantastic breed with others. After many years of breeding mentorship, I am excited to use my knowledge and CHIC-certified AKC females to pass along their quality labrador genetics.
What makes your program special?
My objective is to produce healthy puppies with strong genetics that will be friendly family companions and excel at athletic endeavors. I've been blessed to have been mentored by some amazing breeders who showed me how important the role of good genetics play in temperament and confirmation in America's favorite dog breed. I only breed non-dilute colors (black, yellow, and chocolate).
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
