I'm Cindy E., the breeder behind Old Railroad Labs located in Nicholasville, KY. Our dogs are bred for temperament, intelligence and a quality family companion. We start with Early Neurological Stimulation and continue with litter box training at 3 weeks. Puppies are well socialized and exposed to many different environments. We begin potty training as well as calling them by name.
Q. & A. with Cindy
Why did you start breeding?
We brought home our first lab 7 years ago and instantly fell hard for our boy! He had an amazing personality and temperament and we knew we wanted to pass that along. We also had a family member who had bred labs in the past and leaned into her wisdom with our first litter. It was such an amazing experience that I knew I wanted to continue. So over the last several years we have been growing our lab family.
What makes your program special?
We specialize in American Polar White and Chocolate Labs. We want to raise a lab puppy that is well rounded and healthy free of genetic issues. We also plan to begin training service dogs for the future. We want to be able to give back to our community with visits from our dogs as therapy dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
