I'm Randi K., the breeder behind Ollie'n'Nara located in Ogden, UT. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Why did you start breeding?
It started with simply falling in love with dachshunds and grew from there. The more I learned about the breed, genetics, health, pregnancy, whelping, and raising puppies, the more interested I became in doing it responsibly. I don't want to produce puppies just to produce puppies. I want every breeding to be intentional and every litter to teach me something that helps me continue improving.
What makes your program special?
My dogs aren't kennel dogs—they're family, and their puppies are raised the same way. I keep things small and personal so I can give each litter individual attention, handling, socialization, and lots of love. I care about health and temperament just as much as those adorable dachshund looks, and I want each puppy matched with a family who will love them for their entire life.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, chocolate, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Randi

Randi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Randi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. I screen potential families to make sure each puppy is going to a safe, loving, lifelong home. I consider each family's lifestyle, experience with dogs, other pets, children, and what they're looking for in a dachshund. As the puppies grow and their personalities develop, I'll help families choose a puppy that fits them while also considering their preferences for sex, color, and coat.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first set of puppy shots, a small bag of puppy food and a blanket with mom's scent on it. Your deposit will go towards your final payment of your new puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Randi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
