I'm Katie (., the breeder behind Olympic Rose Biewer Terriers located in Shelton, WA. Biewer Terriers are loyal, loving, and whimsical dogs. They are an intelligent and playful toy breed. We strive for an overall beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament, health, longevity, structure, and movement. We have an unmatched love for these marvelous dogs!

Why did you start breeding?
We purchased our first Biewer Terrier in 2018 and quickly had to have another! Our puppy turned out to be stunning and show/breed-worthy. We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Biewer Terriers while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.
What makes your program special?
We are a small program that is dedicated and loyal to our breed. We are building a community of "furever" friends with our puppy owners and Biewer friends. We look forward to sending you or your family home with one of our playful puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Katie

Katie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price also includes a health guarantee, all 3 rounds of vaccinations, and deworming. Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home. Each puppy is vet checked prior to going to their future homes at 8 weeks. Depending on the individual puppy they can go to their new loving homes around 16 weeks.”

Contract & health guarantee

Katie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Katie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Katie directly.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
