Meet the breeder

I'm Lendsie N., the breeder behind On My Side Kennels located in Galt, CA. We take pride in our pups and are serious about finding good, perfect homes. Our parents have been chosen and bred for the specific qualities we want our puppies to have. We are breeding for family orientation, hunting ability, mellow temperaments, ease of training, health, and beauty.

Q. & A. with Lendsie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Labradors have been a part of our lives since childhood. My grandfather bred labs, hunted, and took me out to his waterfowl blind as a child. My husband grew up hunting with his labs in the Pheasant fields. There was never a doubt that they would be a part of our family as well. It was a requirement that they knew their place in the home and were good with children.
  • What makes your program special?

Each pup is cherished from the moment they are born, and we do all we can to prepare them to excel within their forever homes. I stay up all night to aid in the whelping process, and there is no limitation to making sure mom and babies are as healthy as possible. It would be our pleasure to introduce your family to your next forever companion!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Lendsie made our process with kaya go so smoothly! She made sure we had everything set up before day 1.. She let us see our beautiful puppy whenever we wanted and was always so welcoming.. What made us realize she was a great owner for this kennel is her communication after even picking up our puppy; weeks after if we had an issue or any question she would answer it with her best ability due to her experience on the breed.. We were worried that our dog could of had a skin condition, However with lendsie’s help she just recommended us to get a certain shampoo to shower our pup in, AND BOOM! Gone! Saved us a vet bill/visit and a year later she STILL doesnt have any skin issues.. On My Side Kennels is far ahead the competition and its not even close

On My Side Kennels delivers beyond our expectations! Lendsie, was the absolute best. She was very knowledgeable, supportive and caring through the whole process. This pup is my wife’s first ever dog and she could not have been more nervous, but after a very thorough and educational chat with Lendsie, all her nerves were gone. The family and kennel really takes pride and loves each and every one of their litters/ pups. The care you can see via their social media isn’t just for show but it’s genuine. I would highly recommend On My Side Kennel, to anyone looking for a Labrador to do it all.
