I'm Elizabeth K., the breeder behind Once Upon A Dream Kennels located in Idaho Falls, ID. We are striving to have some great lines in our program. Our Golden Retriever program has an excellent working/sporting line program. We also have a great family/service program.
Q. & A. with Elizabeth
Why did you start breeding?
We have a small breeding farm where we raise horses and dogs. I enjoyed working with my foals so much and seeing the potential I could bring forth, that we wanted to start raising quality dogs. I fell in love with the field line Goldens with my first golden and first K9 partner, Chloe. I knew that I wanted to produce great, healthy working dogs. We think Goldens are amazing for everyone.
What makes your program special?
We strongly focus on health and temperament. We fully test all of our dogs for their required testing and more. We carefully pick strong, healthy lines with drives for the purpose we are striving to produce. We have a working/sport line as well as a family/service line in our Golden program. We think goldens are the ultimate dog and can go so many different directions!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
