I'm Bri A., the breeder behind Once Upon a Mini Dachshund located in Modesto, CA. Our weens are more than dogs they’re our family. We care deeply about making sure our puppies go to safe, loving homes. Our dogs are bred ensuring both male and female are healthy and are taken care very well. We ensure great quality care and will do everything possible to ensure our weens are protected and loved.

Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding when we got our male (Augustus). I always knew I wanted to mate Delilah. When we got our male they instantly became friends and we knew they might just mate with one another. This is our first time breeding dogs and it’s definitely been an adventure.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because of the love and care we have for our weens. My partner and I just want these puppies to go to safe loving homes and to live long happy lives. We ensure great quality care of the puppies and will provide updates along the puppies journey.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Puppy prices include between $1,700 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Delilah is very mature; she loves to cuddle and nap. She is such an amazing mom to her first litter of pups! She is a little more timid, but she does well around other dogs. She also loves kids.

Augustus (Augie) is a very playful, well-trained dog! He loves long car rides, going for walks, and playing with other dogs! Augustus loves to take long naps, too. He also plays chase with kids! He is currently AKC registered.
