I'm Jimmie & Bonnie H., the breeder behind OneTime Cane Corso located in Sandia, TX. OneTime Cane Corso is a family-run breeding program based in Sandia, Texas. Since 2012, we’ve focused on temperament, structure, and real-life suitability. Our dogs are raised in our home with children, structure, and purpose—producing confident, stable companions placed with care, not urgency.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with a deep respect for the Cane Corso as a working and family guardian breed. We wanted to preserve the temperament, structure, and purpose of the Corso while raising dogs that could thrive as loyal family companions. Over time, our passion grew into a carefully planned program built on education, mentorship, and hands-on experience.What makes your program special?
What sets our program apart is lifelong commitment. Our relationship with families does not end when a puppy goes home. We take pride in standing behind every placement for the life of the dog. Bonnie is deeply involved and always available, ensuring families feel supported, confident, and never alone as they welcome their new family member.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gray and fawn, black, black brindle, fawn, gray, gray brindle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jimmie & Bonnie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Pricing includes veterinary care, deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations, AKC limited registration upon spay, early socialization, and thoughtful placement support for each puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but never lost. If unforeseen circumstances arise, your deposit will be honored toward a future litter when the time is right for your family.”

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Bonnie was amazing! She answered all my questions and was knowledgeable! She would send me pictures and update me on how my pup was doing and what her temperament was. When we went to pick up my new fur child, Bonnie was great! She had every ready, My little girl is now 3 months old, it has been 1 month since I have picked her up and she is doing great! OneTime Cane Corso was such a dream to work with. Super responsive, and Bonnie kept me up to date with pictures while we were waiting for the day for our little Reaper Rose (aka Rip) to arrive. Excellent service and this puppy is just gorgeous and sweet. She had such a strong foundation when she came home, that she was housebroken in 4 days once she figured out dog doors. I just love this (not so) little one. She's sweet, gorgeous, and so much fun. She arrived in excellent health and has adjusted to being a part of our family so quickly. She's wonderful and I highly recommend OneTime Cane Corso if you're looking to bring one of these amazing puppies home.
