I'm Ken G., the breeder behind Oopsie Doodles of NC located in Camden, NC. Our dogs are truly part of our family. They have bio-sensory training, first shots, 2 year health guarantee, temperament testing and microchip.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started by looking for hypoallergenic options for our daughter. Our vet actually suggested Labradoodles. We fell in love with them. It became a labor of love for our family to develop solid Labradoodles and Goldendoodles that would be a blessing to their families.

  • What makes your program special?

    We do love what we do. We invest the time and effort to raise good puppies that will become a beautiful addition to bless the families that they become a part of.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Labradoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, and merle. Labradoodle puppies include caramel cream, red, chocolate, and black. Bernedoodle puppies include sable and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ken

Ken has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ken partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing our puppies with quality, forever families. We allow selections following puppy's vet visit. While we do not allow in-person visits prior to puppy's 6 week shots, we are happy to schedule video chats to help assist you in choosing your new family member. Between week 6 and 7, puppies undergo temperament testing. This temperament testing uses Volhardt’s scale and checks for components such as sensitivity to touch, sight and sound; resistance; and ability to follow. After temperament testing is completed, we compile that information to inform families of their new puppy's personality. Families can use information gathered from temperament testing to better prepare for training their puppy.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
