I'm Catherine Y., the breeder behind OPA! Havanese (formerly Elysium Fields) located in Morriston, FL. The goal i set and which I believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that are well socialized and meet the breed standards which will make a well-rounded adult dog. Our Havanese are from exceptional CH & GCH lines. OFA tested-Hips, patella, elbows, eyes, heart.

Why did you start breeding?

About Violet
Violet is a feisty, confident girl. She was a great show dog and won quickly as a pup. She was fun in the ring because she's outgoing and she loved her job, showing off. She had a signature spin at the beginning of every down and back. She has her GCH Bronze metal, Silver in Owner Handled, showed to number 2 owner handled by me in 2023, won Best Opposite best girl at the AKC Owner Handled Finals. An award of Merit at the big Royal Canin National Show in 2023. Showed at Westminster in 2024. Ended showing early in 2024 but still placed number 4 O/H that year and again we went to finals. She's been a successful show girl that hopefully passes it on to her pups. Sweet and fun!i

About Amaretto "Ame"
Amaretto, we call her Ame, is the sweetest and quietest of my Havanese. She's confident but cuddly, and loves sitting on the couch with me, running around the farm, and being adorable. She was a show dog and is a push button show dog. She has her Canine Good Citizens certificate and has passed the Temperament Test as well. She's the best of moms, and takes great care of her pups.
