Meet the breeder

I'm Brittany W., the breeder behind Opal Creek Acres located in Pocahontas, AR. We treat our dogs like family here. We prioritize ethical breeding from good natured dogs with only 1-2 litters a year from fully mature females and males. Each pup will come fully vetted, socialized, and genetically tested via parentage.

Q. & A. with Brittany

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I started raising mini & toy Aussies, I wanted to focus on 2 things: 1.) achieving the full size look while being an apartment sized dog (structural correctness). 2.) having a naturally calm and quiet temperament without sacrificing the breed's performance. I knew that if I prioritized these traits, that it would only further enhance this breed!
  • What makes your program special?

What makes your breeding program special? I feel like what sets me apart from others is that I focus on quality not quantity and I want to make sure each new owner ends up with a healthy, good natured pup without spending an absolute fortune!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
