Q. & A. with Rosalee
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my first Shih Tzu Rufus, 15 years ago. I fell deeply in love with his charm and beauty and was constantly asked what kind of dog he was. I acquired Bella shortly after and the rest is history. I have since retired our first dogs who I started showing in AKC conformation shows in 2017 and I am getting ready for my Shih Tzu to step back into the show ring in 2021!
What makes your program special?
The Shih Tzu breed has really become my passion, and I believe life has truly become sweeter as I've shared my life with one! We at Oriental Beauties, strive to produce excellent companions! We know the importance of sound health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I am trying to achieve within my program. I will always provide lifetime knowledge and guidance for any family who brings home one of my wonderful Shih Tzus!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
