I'm Nancy C., the breeder behind Oscar Meyer’s Weenies located in Fontana, CA. We are a small, 100% in-home breeding program and produce 1-2 litters a year. Our dogs are our family pets, first and foremost. We keep our program intentionally small, in order to ensure everyone receives the attention and care they deserve. All of our parents are genetic and health tested before being bred. We focus on health, structure and temperament. We practice Early Neurological Stimulation, begin early exposure to typical sights, sounds and textures in the home, and begin introducing our puppies to potty and crate training prior to them going to their new homes.

You think they like the crate?? 😆🙌🏼

Ronin and Reese's litter

Lots of progress this week!! Exposure to even more new textures, sights and sounds. Introducing the crate, toys they can climb on top of, over, and through, a wafting overhead balloon…they’re getting pretty darn good at using the potty tray, and eating more solid food. Will be taking them on some short car rides this week as well. I want these pups to transition smoothly and fearlessly into their new homes. 🙏🏼🩷😍🙌🏼 They’re all doing so wonderful!

Oscar Meyer’s Weenies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dachshunds.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Nancy was very great from the start. She replied to all of our messages in a very timely manner. She also gave us the entire background on Moose and provided us with his documents. Moose has been a dream ever since we got him! He is such a well behaved boy who listens very well. He was already potty trained when we got him which helped immensely. Nancy is a great breeder and she helped us make Moose’s transition very smoothly. You can tell she cares about her animals which is something that is very important to me.

We got our little baby from Nancy and couldn’t be happier! She responded super quickly to all our questions and just a couple of days later, we had our baby home. She even followed up afterward to check how our little one was doing, you can really tell she cares and is a wonderful, responsible breeder. Thank you so much, Nancy! We love our baby!!

Nancy was a really fantastic breeder to work with. She kept us updated on our puppies weekly and is very knowledgeable about the breed. She was quick to provide any information we needed and soothed all of our concerns as first time puppy parents! She was really easy to communicate with and her puppies are very well cared for. It’s evident in our puppy’s amazing behavior! Pudding has been so easy to potty train and was very well adjusted. She loves seeing other people and is our little snuggle bug! We highly recommend going to Nancy if you’re looking for your next doxie pup.
