Meet the breeder

I'm Hanna O., the breeder behind O’Shields Golden Paws located in Campobello, SC. We are an in-home hobby breeder who believes in healthy breeding practices including genetic & OFA testing, puppy socialization, and lots of love & physical touch from our family starting from birth. It is our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy puppy!

Q. & A. with Hanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

After growing up with Goldens, breeding was something that always interested me, leading me to want to share my experience & love from a dog like I had as a child. The two Goldens from my childhood are what showed me unconditional love & I will cherish it forever - has led me to do what brings me feeling joy and fulfillment; breeding well-tempered family dogs for everyone to love and enjoy.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program more special than most is how close we stay in contact with all of our puppy families. We often have meet ups or play dates with puppies from previous litters and we even throw a first birthday party for each new litter at our home. We love staying in touch with all of the puppies we have produced!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
