About Onyx
Sharp’s Onyx (AKC) CGC TKN (UKC) About: Onyx is a calm yet attentive black standard poodle. She is one of the smartest dogs I have ever had the pleasure of owning and training. She works very well in any setting you put her in. She has a bit of a hunting drive when in comes to small prey and excels in obedience-type commands and tricks. She lacks some confidence in new situations, but does recover quickly when worked with. She is quiet in the house, but will bark to alert me. She loves to play and sometimes boss around other dogs who are not behaving correctly. She lives in my home with my boyfriend and I as well as our two neutered male dogs (a small poodle mix and a Norwegian Elkhound). Overall, Onyx is a sweet goofy dog and is a good working girl! Owner: Vanessa Sharp Certifications AKC: CGC, Novice Trick Dog, 2 Legs in Beginner Novice Obedience UKC: A few UKC Conformation wins under our belt, working on a Conformation title Other: Certified Therapy Dog through Bright and Beautiful Once everything is back in full swing after CoVID, we plan to work further on her Obedience and Rally!
