I'm Audrey S., the breeder behind Out in the BoonDachs located in Albany, NY. Out In The BoonDachs is proud to offer well bred, healthy, beautiful AKC longhair Dachshund puppies. Our puppies are always born and raised in our home, underfoot as family members. Our puppies are bred with careful consideration of temperament, style and breed correctness.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding and animal genetics has been a life-long passion. As a teenager, I focused on breeding and raising show quality livestock and small animals. My life revolved around my animals and the show ring. The transition into the World of Dog Breeding felt SOOO natural!! I absolutely love what I do, and am extremely proud to be the responsible breeder I am today! 🐾🐾
What makes your program special?
Out in the BoonDachs puppies are raised as a part of our family. They are born and raised in our home underfoot. We expose our puppies to real every day life: loud noises, vacuuming, socialization with small and large breed dogs, lots of playtime with children of all ages, and almost fully litterbox trained. Our puppies leave our home completely ready to be a huge part of yours! 🐾🐾
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Audrey

Audrey has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"FULL AKC registration, vet check, age appropriate vaccinations and dewormings completed. Pups come with their health records, written 1 year health guarantee, & generous New Puppy Package. 🐾🐾. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Once the deposit has been received on a particular puppy, we send you a copy of our sales contract, and that pup is officially yours! Balance is due at delivery. 🐾🐾."
