About Maggie
Introduction: Maggie is a beast in the field with the perfect off switch at home. She charges hard to pick up ducks and never meets a stranger, making her the ideal combination of intensity and sociability. Her drive in the field and calm demeanor at home set her apart as an exceptional companion and working dog. Accomplishments: Maggie’s impressive achievements began early in her career. Professionally trained by Wally Schalau of SOK North, she earned her first two Finished passes at just 13 months old and achieved her HRCH (Hunting Retriever Champion) title before the age of two. Her consistent performance in hunting and competition reflects her natural talent and disciplined training. Hunting Experience: Maggie’s hunting credentials are equally remarkable. She spent the last duck season with Broken Oak Outfitters in Saskatchewan, Canada, where she demonstrated her skills in challenging conditions. Previously, she honed her abilities during a duck and goose season with Split Wing Outfitters in Kansas. Her thick, dense coat makes her perfectly suited for cold-weather duck hunting, ensuring she performs at her best in any environment. Pedigree: Maggie’s pedigree features some of the most renowned names in the field. Among her lineage are the famed FTCH Copperbirch Paddy of Leadburn, NORD JCH FTW Tasco Brimstone, and FTCH Craighorn Bracken, the 2001 IGL British Championship winner. This distinguished ancestry is a testament to her strong genetic foundation, further enhancing her reputation as an elite retriever. Maggie’s exceptional drive, skill, and pedigree make her a standout performer both in the field and at home. Whether it’s retrieving ducks or relaxing by your side, she embodies the qualities of a top-tier retriever

Her desire to please is one of her most likable traits, making her easy to handle and responsive to commands, stopping quickly on the whistle. Visa’s combination of determination and trainability sets her apart as an exceptional working dog. Accomplishments Visa earned her HRCH (Hunting Retriever Champion) title in the summer of 2022, a testament to her relentless work ethic and exceptional performance. She was trained by Wally Schalau from SOK North, who brought out the best in her. Prior to that, in the spring of 2021, she achieved her WSD (Working Shed Dog) title under the guidance of Scott Kuchenbecker at RPM Retrievers. These accolades reflect her versatility and dedication to excelling in every task she takes on. Physical Description Visa has a medium-dense coat that highlights her muscular physique. Her long, lean legs are built for powerful water entries, and her athleticism is apparent in every movement. Weighing in at about 55 pounds, she strikes the perfect balance between strength and agility. Her exceptional BVA hip score of 0/0 underscores her excellent health and suitability for breeding and rigorous work. Pedigree Visa’s pedigree is nothing short of remarkable, featuring three International Field Trial Champions: Int. FTCH Ringbarn Fletching (2019 Irish Retriever of the Year, 2021 Irish Kennel Club Retriever of the Year), Int. FTCH Apache Joe, and Int. FTCH Tweedshot Trimble of Lettergreen. Additionally, her lineage includes numerous Field Trial Champions such as FTCH Mediterian Blue and FTCH Tamrose Aragon. This stellar genetic background is a cornerstone of her impressive abilities and temperament. Visa has already proven herself as an outstanding producer. She has had two litters, both of which have resulted in phenomenal pups. These young dogs inherit her drive, intelligence, and trainability, making them promising candidates for both fieldwork and competition. Her strong pedigree and excellent health scores further enhance her value as a breeding dog. Visa represents the ideal blend of talent, drive, and lineage, making her a standout in any field. Whether working in the field, producing exceptional offspring, or just showing her incredible personality, she sets the standard for what a top-tier retriever should be.
