I'm Buffy S., the breeder behind Ozark Mountain Aussies located in Leslie, AR. Our dogs are born and raised on our cattle ranch in North Central Arkansas. Both parents are registered and are our personal pets. The mother is a Red/White Bi Color Australian Shepherd and the father is a Tri Blue Merle Australian Shepherd. They are both very smart and have great temperaments. The litter is also registered and each puppy is microchipped, de-wormed, had their dewclaws removed, tails docked and are UTD on shots. They have been kept on site at our ranch with the parents and under the constant care and supervision of a veterinarian, Dr. John Stephenson DVM (my husband). Please call or message me
for more information, videos and pictures. We can FaceTime if you’d like.
Q. & A. with Buffy
Why did you start breeding?
My husband is a veterinarian and he and I both have always had a love for all animals but especially Aussies. We purchased a male Aussie as a puppy (Milo) and re-homed and adopted a female Aussie. (Sadie) a couple of years later. We decided to breed them and Ozark Mountain Aussies was born.
What makes your program special?
We raise good sound healthy puppies on our cattle ranch where they are exposed to livestock, children and other pets to make them well rounded. We give them lots of love and the best veterinarian care.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
