Meet the breeder

I'm Paula B., the breeder behind Pacific Crest Labradors located in Ranchita, CA. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

Q. & A. with Paula

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started breeding just for personal use. We loved keeping a family of dogs and watch them grow. Over the years we have raised other breeds but when we were puppy raisers for Guide Dogs the love of the Labradors took hold. They are so intelligent and eager to learn and partner with their people. I wanted to help others have that relationship with their dog.
  • What makes your program special?

I think that we are small with only a few litter a year. Gives us ample time to enjoy the process. We have time to play with them and love them. Finding them the best home is a priority for us.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Paula was a joy to work with—she’s a super responsive, caring, and responsible breeder. She listened carefully to what I was looking for in a dog, and matched me with the perfect pup. Her dogs are beautiful! My puppy is so smart and has a great temperament. I feel very fortunate to have found Pacific Crest Labradors and highly recommend them!

Paula was very kind and helpful. Kennels were very clean, and had little furry pups that had beautiful faces and well proportioned bodies. Mom and Dad were on site and were very good looking dogs. I have already referred a couple of interested people that are looking for a pup.
