Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

I highly recommend getting a Pomeranian from Catherine with Pacific Northwest Pomeranians. She was quick to respond to my application and from there we did a video chat where I got to see Mac, my Pomeranian, live. Catherine made this such an easy smooth process and she constantly gave me updates about Mac. I absolutely recommend to anyone looking to adopt a Pomeranian!

I inquired about Little Miss Cherry Bomb (one year old female) and Catherine replied very quickly. We set up a phone call for the next day. We had a nice conversation about Cherry. She answered all of my questions. I wanted to make sure that Cherry would fit in well with my other two Pomeranians. I decided that she would be a good fit for our family so we set up a meeting location which was a halfway point between our homes. Catherine is very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. I could see that she’s really wants to make sure that her puppies/adult dogs are going to be with the right people. I took one look at Cherry and instantly fell in love! She beyond adorable. We had a long drive home and she rode beautifully in the car. We got home and she settled right in. She’s intelligent, well mannered and a delight to be around. She’s playful and snuggly…. a perfect combination! I reached out to Catherine’s vet to get Cherry’s vaccination records. The vet tech that I spoke to said that Catherine takes excellent care of her momma dog and litters. She had nothing but good things to say about Catherine’s program. I took Cherry to our vet so she could get established with our clinic. The vet said that she was in perfect health and was “ridiculously cute”. I agree! I highly recommend Pacific Northwest Pomeranians.

Catherine was incredibly responsive and well-informed about Hazel’s breed. It’s evident that she genuinely cares about her puppies and has ensured they’re placed in suitable homes. She consistently kept me updated on Hazel’s progress and routine, always sending me pictures and videos to showcase her growth and development. This entire process was incredibly helpful and informative. Catherine did an exceptional job of reassuring me about the process and even helped support arranging the pickup date and time.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
