I'm Diane T., the breeder behind Pacific Shelties located in Brooksville, FL. My goal is to produce Shelties that are all around good dogs. These include Beauty, Sound mind and body, and Herding aptitude.
Q. & A. with Diane
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Sheltie as a pet. She was not a show dog but had good bloodlines so I connected with a Sheltie breeder to find her a mate. After having a litter and going to dog shows, I was hooked.
What makes your program special?
Although I breed for show, I focus on making sure that my puppies are healthy and have good personalities that will make excellent family members.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
