I'm Laurie L., the breeder behind Paddington located in Woodsboro, MD. All our dogs are raised in our home. Our puppies are loved and socialized with other dogs, adults and children. We travel with our dogs and wherever we go they are with us. We enjoy our yorkies and they keep us laughing and entertained. All of our dogs are friendly and loving. I focus on sweet, loving and sound temperaments. I will not keep or breed an aggressive dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We dabbled with breeding in 1995 and began to get serious about our breeding stock after reading books and meeting and working with successful breeders. I was able to breed and show the top Yorkshire terrier very early in our developing breeding program. Since that time I have bred many lovely champions and have made many new friends along the way.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our focus on dog’s temperament’s, health and structure. Sound temperaments are needed in the show ring as well as in puppies going to families. Our dogs are kept healthy with good diet, regular vet checks and all the necessary vaccines.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blue and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
