Paisano Belgian Tervuren

Pam R.

Breeder of Belgian Tervuren

Meet the breeder

I'm Pam R., the breeder behind Paisano Belgian Tervuren located in Washington. We believe all dogs have something special to offer; be it in the conformation ring, the performance arena, search and rescue, or a devoted family companion.

Q. & A. with Pam

  • Why did you start breeding?

30 years ago I bought my first Belgian Tervuren with the intention of wanting a nice companion. My breeder who is now a dear friend, introduced me to obedience and conformation...I was hooked. I became fascinated with pedigrees from both the U.S. and more so, Europe which eventually led me to import several Tervuren to introduce new lines.
  • What makes your program special?

Health, temperament and soundness are important to me as a dog with a willing attitude to work tirelessly as a team with their human in whatever is asked of them and who can then settle at your feet.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
