Meet the breeder

I'm Eric P., the breeder behind Palace Guard Dogos located in Pueblo, CO. We're a small program, with great bloodlines, offering solid representatives of the breed. We love this breed and find great joy in sharing them with others.

Q. & A. with Eric

  • Why did you start breeding?

Retired from law enforcement at the same time as a huge culture change in Colorado, and decided to start my own kennel, with the breed I'd long admired, in order to offer a well rounded dog for the protection of home grows, and industrial hemp farms, which could also be utilized by the enormous hunter population here in the Southwest. We've evolved since, but that was our initial vision.
  • What makes your program special?

We've put out solid representatives, and several UKC champions, but feel the most telling quality is the number of dogs we've placed with other breeders throughout the country and Mexico. From San Diego to Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Mexico, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and Illinois, we've been a part of many new and exciting foundational programs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
