Meet the breeder

I'm Palemtto T., the breeder behind Palmetto Tamaskans located in South Carolina. Nestled on 14 quiet acres just outside Charleston, SC, our kennel was built on a passion for the Tamaskan breed and a commitment to ethical breeding practices. Our dogs enjoy the best of both worlds: freedom to explore our peaceful farm and comfortable living alongside our family. We place high emphasis on health screening, genetic diversity, and temperament in all our breeding decisions. Early puppyhood at Palmetto Tamaskans includes daily handling, environmental exposure, and structural guidance so each puppy leaves us ready to seamlessly transition into their new homes. We are dedicated to supporting our puppy owners throughout every stage of their dog’s life.

Q. & A. with Palemtto

  • Why did you start breeding?

Over the years I've developed a true appreciation for sound canine health and behavior. Driven by a desire to raise confident, well-socialized Tamaskans, we began our breeding program to preserve the breed's standards while providing families healthy, genetically tested companions raised with love on our farm.
  • What makes your program special?

Our farm provides an ideal environment for raising healthy, adaptable Tamaskan dogs. Built on years of hands-on dog care experience, our program combines dedicated early puppy enrichment to give each puppy the best possible start in life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are wolf gray agouti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
