I'm Chad and Cheryle C., the breeder behind Palmhaven Collies located in Groveland, FL. We are Chad and Cheryle Collier, owners and operators of Palmhaven Collies. We are located on a 10 acre farm in central Florida, where we have been AKC collie breeders for over almost 30 years! We take great pride in the collies we have produced here, and have a true love for this breed. We approach the title of "breeder" with integrity, dedication and honor.

Why did you start breeding?
We both grew up in Michigan, where Chad was raised on a 40 acre farm in which he always had collies. Once we purchashd out 10 acres in Florida, we knew it was the only dog we wanted. Our first collie was named Hugo, we got him a girlfriend.......What makes your program special?
All our dogs are DNA tested, giving us the ability to know the results of any breeding in reference to particular diseases. Much consideration is put into each litter, choosing the perfect sire and dam to compliment each others best features. In an effort to always improve and strengthen this wonderful breed, we strive for the ultimate outcome: A beautiful, healthy Palmhaven collie puppy!What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle and white, blue merle white and tan, sable merle, sable and white, sable, blue merle and white, black white and tan, blue merle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Chad and Cheryle
Chad and Cheryle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

"Puppies will come with AKC registration, Up to date on shots and worming, health certificate from our veterinarian, health guarantee, micro chipped and potty trained began. We accept $500. deposits on puppies when they are at least 3 weeks old, and we do encourage visitors at this time. Puppies do not leave Palmhaven until they are at least 8 weeks old at which time the remaining balance is to be paid in cash. Deposits are transferable."

Cyclic Neutropenia, Grey Collie Syndrome (CN), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Dermatomyositis, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
