I'm Donald D., the breeder behind Palmtree Cockers located in Rising Sun, MD. I have been raising Cocker Spaniels for over 25 years. My main goal is to improve the breed and raise family loving puppies. All puppies are vet checked and a certificate of good health is provided along with AKC reg. All of our puppies are from Champion lines with health certificate parents.

Raising puppies from two distinct lines for over twenty-five years. I will require a phone number from all potential clients, as I only sell puppies to those I can communicate with.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white, buff, black white and tan, black and white, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"Price includes AKC registration, first set of shots, deworming, vet certificate, puppy food, toy, water, and socialization with other dogs and our grandchildren. All puppies raised in our home. All deposits are non-refundable but can be used for a different puppy or future litter."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
