Why did you start breeding?
My journey with American Hunt Terriers began with Savage, whom I got for my husband after we lost his beloved German Shepherd, Neka. We later added Buoy, and the two quickly became our adventure companions, joining us for fishing, hiking, and hunting. Their loyalty, athleticism, and natural drive inspired our love for the breed and ultimately led us to breeding.What makes your program special?
What makes our breeding program special is that our dogs are truly family. From traveling from Alaska to Florida to exploring the Redwoods, Grand Canyon, hiking, fishing, and hunting. They have shown us their confidence, adaptability, intelligence, and natural drive. We believe well-rounded dogs come from a rich life, socialization, and experiencing the world with their family.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Savage may be small but her spirit is extra large. She loves to go fishing, hiking, swimming, hunting, and riding with her dad on his motorcycle. At the end of the day, she loves to snuggle up with her favorite human or Buoy. She’s one of a kind and she is sure to share those qualities with her offspring.

Buoy is not only handsome but he is the most skilled ball catcher! He loves to swim, hike, fish, and go on hikes. He loves everyone he comes into contact with. He spends his days playing catch and at the end of the day loves to curl up with his favorite human to watch a movie alongside Savage. His personality is one of a kind and is sure to stick around for generations to come.
