I'm Debra P., the breeder behind Parvane located in Pinole, CA. We are a focused and dedicated breeding program looking to produce dogs with excellent temperaments and conformation. I am very careful about health, longevity, life span, and broadening the gene pool. Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have loved the journey both in the show world and as a breeder. I love placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.
What makes your program special?
I truly love the English Cocker Spaniel breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I am committed to helping all of my adoptive families prepare for their new puppy as well as stay connected and mentor them throughout their journey. I love seeing puppy updates and seeing my puppies thrive in their forever homes.

Puppy prices include between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
