Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with our absolute love for poodles. After bringing our own Poodles into our home over a decade ago, we were completely captivated by the breeds intelligence, versatility, gentle disposition, and athletic nature. Seeing how well-breed Poodles enriches our daily lives, we felt inspired to dedicate ourselves to preserving and sharing these incredible qualities.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are born and raised right in our home, surrounded by the daily rhythms of homestead life. From early age, they are gently handled, exposed to normal household sounds and other farm animals. We prioritize a sound structure, and steady, trainable temperaments. We aim to produce Poodles that excel as devoted family companions, therapy/service candidates, or active outdoor partners.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Melissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Melissa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Each puppy includes, AKC Registration paperwork, Health Guarantee, First Round of Vaccination & age-appropriate deworming, early socialization to set them up for a successful future. To reserve your puppy, we require a 500.00 non-refundable deposit, which is applied directly toward your total purchase price. We will keep you updated with photos an videos along the way.”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
