I'm Jeanie D., the breeder behind Patriot Shelties (not the scam person who stole my kennel name)) located in Woodway, TX. I adore my dogs and their puppies. Ensuring they are healthy, happy, and well-socialized are things that I take great pride in. I am involved with conformation and know what is needed to breed top quality dogs. I put all of my love into my breeding program and am always striving to improve my program. I do genetic testing specific to Shelties and all dogs in my program have had hip xrays to rule out hip dysplasia. They are up to date on vaccinatlons and heart worm prevention. The puppies are vaccinated prior to placement, according to their age. Please be careful when shopping online. Someone is using my kennel name online. It is a scam.

    I care deeply about my dogs. They aren't just here to be bred, they are my family.

    Our puppies are sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jeanie

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“My personal contract outlines the health guarantee and other information. Deposits may be refundable under certain conditions. Deposits are meant to hold the puppy for the buyer with the remainder due at the time the puppy is picked up.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Animal Genetics Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We were very pleased with Jeanie and our overall experience with GoodDag. Since we were getting a young dog, her health was very important to us so have a valid vet record that we got from Jeanie. As well, our new pup Sunny checked out great with our vet when we got her home. Jeanie made it very easy to pick up Sunny, my husband went to Jeanie's home where he spent a few hours getting to know Sunny and got a very complete briefing from Jeanie. It was obvious that Jeanie cares very much for her dogs and wants to insure they go to a good home. My husband had a very pleasant drive back with Sunny. Since we've got her home, Sunny has been a delight and is already fitting in great in our home and our other young dog. They are already fast friends!     Jeanie is a loving, responsible breeder who was transparent with me about her puppies.
