I'm Pat S., the breeder behind Pat’s Garden State Yorkies located in Williamstown, NJ. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

Why did you start breeding?
I always wanted to breed but worked full time. Now im home caring for my 92 yr old mom and decided now is the time to start breeding . I have the time and space for it so the timing was perfectWhat makes your program special?
I think my program is special because these are my babies. Its not about the money its about the health of the babies , My babies are followed by my vet and are very well cared for . All my babies are akc registered and parents are all embark tested and cleared for breedingWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate and tan, parti, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Pat partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"Price includes one year health guarantee , first shots and deworming socialization with other pets and children Breeding rights are an extra 500 fee. 500.00 deposit due when puppy is chosen."

Program update on 13 Nov 2025 •Babies will be 4 weeks old on friday the 14 th of november. They are doing amazing. Now on mush, teeth starting to come in and up on all 4’s playing with each other. Such good little girls. Faith is still available. Havent really been advertising her alot but she is available. She is an amazing baby girl. So so sweet

Pat’s Garden State Yorkies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Yorkshire Terriers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
