Pattie’s Precious Puppies

Patrice L.

Breeder of Shih Tzus and Companion Crosses

Meet the breeder

I'm Patrice L., the breeder behind Pattie’s Precious Puppies located in Trevor, WI. I love my dogs! They have brought me so much love and happiness that I decided to start my own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality puppies and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others!

Q. & A. with Patrice

  • Why did you start breeding?

Years ago, we owned our family's first Shih Tzu named Capuchino. She was the best companion I could ever hope for. She lived for almost 17 years. Her last four years were VERY hard on her. She had some health issues that could have been prevented through better health screening during the breeding process. I decided I could make a difference through a responsible breeding & management.
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies have the best shot for good health & emotional development from day one. They are born in a home environment, handled and cared for 24/7. Each stage of their development is recognized, and their environment adapted according to age. They quickly learn to recognize the human voice and touch, responding in a positive way. Preparing them for their future home is my most important duty.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Companion Cross puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Shih Tzu puppies include liver and white, black white and silver, and black and white. Companion Cross puppies include fawn and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
