I'm David W., the breeder behind Peaceful Acres Wheeling located in Wheeling, WV. As a Veteran Owned Business, My first measure of success is to produce working dogs that are also your best friend. My breeding program starts with healthy proper dogs from working lines. Adding color to the picture puts the icing on the cake.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It started with sheep 40 years ago. Along with the sheep, livestock guardian dogs came to my farm in the form of Great Pyrenes. About 10 years ago I found Karakachans and started breeding them. And it's hard to talk sheep without having a Border Collie in the picture. I have loved the process of breeding these incredible dogs and placing them in loving homes.

  • What makes your program special?

    I want people to see and understand the care and love I have for all my animals. My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose. I can’t wait to connect with you!

Getting a puppy from David

David has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price also includes puppies from health-tested parents, first-round-out shots, worming, a microchip, socialization, and Assoc. registration. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfill our obligation to the sale. It can be transferable to a later litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

David may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
